Audio Monitoring and Solo, Mute, Stereo on All Audio Channels

Solo, Mute, Stereo, and Audio Monitoring on all audio channels is now available with Cinamaker Director Studio version 2.24.

Audio Monitoring is useful when monitoring studio and remote guests' audio and you wish to silence your own microphone source in your headphones, but not in the master mix.

This document describes Cinamaker Director Studio Audio Monitoring and Audio Controls.

Audio Monitoring

By turning Audio Monitoring ON, you will be able to listen to your Cinamaker Audio mix live.

Audio Monitoring in Cinamaker Director Studio requires wearing headphones, otherwise, the audio will be played through Mac’s speakers and create unwanted and annoying feedback.

To activate Audio Monitoring (Mac Only):

Audio Monitoring using the Mac version of Cinamaker Director Studio must be switched On/Off from the top of the Program window.

  1. Tap the switch above the Program Monitor to activate Audio Monitoring. This will activate the current audio mix.

To activate Audio Monitoring (iPad Only)

Audio Monitoring using the iPad version of Cinamaker Director Studio is automatically available when plugging your headphones into the iPad’s headphone jack.

  1. Plug headphones into the iPad headphone jack to activate Audio Monitoring. This will activate the current audio mix. NOTE: It is required to use headphones with the iPad version.

The Mac version of Director Studio requires Audio Monitoring to be turned ON.

Audio Controls

With Cinamaker Director Studio you can include multiple external audio sources. Audio sources (Mics and mixing boards) can be plugged directly into the Mac or iPad. Additionally, multiple audio sources can be plugged into Cinamaker Capture devices (see links below for reference)*

When in playback mode using the in-app editor
